Is Your Child’s Development On Track?
Download our Milestones Monitor Tracker to guide your kids through their preschool years

At three years old, your child has grown to a preschooler. Are you starting to see them develop skills, such as an improved vocabulary and following instructions? To help you keep track of their holistic development, Enfagrow A+ created a Milestones Monitor Tracker for kids three years old and above.

Created with the help of child development and behavior specialists, this resource will help parents focus on important domains of development that facilitate learning, such as language and communication, executive function, and motor skills.

Understanding the Domains of Development

When you go through the domains of development, remember that they are all important and closely related to each other. The Milestone Monitor Tracker will guide you through the sequences and show you how the abilities and skills build on what has already been acquired by your kids.

How to Use The Milestones Monitor Tracker?

The tracker lists milestones for each domain of development and is grouped into different age groups. Aside from ticking items off the list and celebrating your child’s milestones, you can see a list of red flags to watch out for.

For example, let’s tackle communication. More than just the ability to talk, this area of development is about how your child understands and interacts with the world at large. The milestones under communication are grouped into ages 3-4, 5-6, and 7 and above.

For the 3-4 age group, the checklist includes: a.) can speak in sentences, b.) 100% intelligibility with a few articulation errors, c.) can tell stories, d.) understands action words, e.) follows three-step commands, and f.) knows same and different.

If your child is not exhibiting the skills outlined in the tracker, you can refer to the list of red flags under each domain of development. There are also parenting tips to help improve your child’s development.

Handling Red Flags

Be patient with your preschooler if they aren’t developing as quickly as you’d like. If your child is not yet exhibiting the skills outlined in the Milestones Monitor Tracker, then reinforce the tips suggested under each domain. But if the skills still do not develop with the stimulation tips provided, then it’s best to discuss the red flags with your pediatrician who can give your child further evaluation and management.

Monitoring your child’s development can help you spot and address red flags early. To guarantee your child’s development, provide them with educational activities, parental guidance, and proper nutrition.
